Thank you for participating in AMCIS 2026, an in-person conference. Based on the success of the author-videos embedded in the AIS eLibrary along with the accepted papers over the past five years, the conference committee highly recommends submission of author-videos for all papers. Detailed information about the author-video is included below. Please use this site to submit your author-video file.
Benefits of your video in AIS eLibrary
In order to create a more immersive and inclusive experience, AMCIS 2026 authors are asked to create a short author-video about the paper with the aim of enhancing impact, inclusivity, and the global reach of your research. The author-videos are posted directly on your article’s landing page in the AIS eLibrary. Author-videos were added as a new feature in the eLibrary in May 2020 and they have proven to be incredibly popular and beneficial to both authors and the entire field. By including an author video, you are increasing your research reach and audience.
- AMCIS author-videos have garnered more than 100,000 video streams since their addition to the AIS eLibrary in May 2020. In fact, on average every AMCIS author-video has been streamed 55 times and growing (as of Feb 2026.)
- Author-videos significantly enhance the paper’s impact across several metrics (e.g., paper downloads, global readership, abstract views, etc.). Some examples of author-videos from AMCIS 2024 and AMCIS 2025 are linked below;

- Author-video streams have grown to keep pace (and to frequently outpace) the volume of article downloads across many proceedings such as AMCIS20, AMCIS21, AMCIS23, ICIS20, ICIS21 and more.
- Author-videos allow readers from across the planet, who may have never an opportunity to attend an AMCIS conference, the ability to view paper presentations.
Author-videos can provide a more comprehensive view of the research study (and the paper), research methods, findings, research team, etc. Please complete the required * fields below so this file can be posted to the correct article in the AMCIS 2026 proceedings in the AIS eLibrary.
Please note:
- Presentations at AMCIS 2026 must be in-person. Videos will not be shown as an alternative.
- The presenter on the video and the in-person presenter at AMCIS 2026 can differ.
- If a second version has been uploaded, the most recent version will be uploaded to eLibrary. No need to contact.
- As a reminder, AIS does not require copyright of the accepted AMCIS papers or videos.
- Videos will be available in eLibrary prior to the conference.
